I am an avid reader, and I have been reading books for the past 4 years. I now can say that I was never a one-book person at a time, I read 3–5 books at the same time.

I am not sure how many people would relate to this but when you read multiple books at a time, the level of your imagination increases, I have observed this because our mind has the tendency to form patterns, one idea or scene from one book and one idea from another book and TA-DA something superb comes up, an idea born of sheer creativity an imagination of your mind.

I am not even exaggerating I have had multiple breakthrough ideas by the above-mentioned.

I am not saying this just for the sake of it, I have made Instagram carousels from an amalgamation of concepts and ideas formed by the connection of 2–3 books, and they garnered a lot of love and appreciation from my followers.

My mentor Mr Amrut Deshmukh popularly known as The Booklet Guy (on a mission to Make India Read) always tell everyone that whenever you are stuck at something in life, “Read Random

Because when you are stuck or are in a problem, your mind will continuously seek out solutions to make you come out of those problems (survival instinct)

And at such times when you read randomly, your mind will pick ideas you wouldn't otherwise, and it will try to form patterns to solve your problems.

Similar things happen when you read multiple books, your mind will make permutations and combinations to solve your problems, so I would never mention that it is a bad thing to read multiple books.

Let me know what you think about this.

Thank you for patiently reading.
